Casey and I have had a brilliant summer. Each day starts with a long walk in the park. Our walk is in a different place each day and we love sniffing around to see who has been there and leaving our special scent for those coming behind! We have breakfast when we get home and then we rest. We have comfy beds all over the house so we can sleep all day. Casey likes to bark loudly if anyone passes by but I prefer to stay asleep. We have tea after the family eats (we do love leftovers) and then we sleep again until it's time to go to bed.
Our routine was interrupted by a splendid holiday in Eriskay where we enjoyed lots of walks and plenty of resting and some very tasty leftovers. Some days stand out in my mind especially the day we met a family in Pollok park whose toddler threw some lovely ham sandwiches for us out of the pram. There was also a splendid walk with lots of friends from church at the windfarm. Casey and I thought the big white windmills looked like giant trees. The smells were great and the walking fun but the best bit was stopping off at Morven's car for refreshments at the end. She definitely knows her biscuits!
Well folks, it's time for my nap, I'd better go. Casey and I will be at the midweek service on Thursdays, hopefully we'll see you there.
Harvey (and my annoying little brother, Casey).
